How do people
talk about money
in your culture?

I study the language of money — how people across cultures perceive, remember, and speak about wealth, poverty, and financial experience. I also work with entrepreneurs to help them tell their financial story with clarity and confidence.

Natalya Pankratova

I am a psychologist, psycholinguist, and PCC ICF certified coach working at the intersection of language, culture, and financial behaviour. My dissertation research examines how Russian-speaking people perceive and conceptualise money, wealth, and poverty — mapping the sensory images, emotions, and narratives they unconsciously attach to economic concepts.

The next phase of this work extends the comparison to English-speaking populations, building a cross-cultural picture of how language shapes our relationship with money.

In my coaching practice I work within a CBT approach, running groups on financial behaviour and helping people examine the beliefs, rules, and family stories about money they carry without realising it.

I am also a communications expert for entrepreneurs — helping business owners and experts articulate who they are and what they do with clarity and authenticity. If you need to tell your story compellingly, that is my territory.

Research

Psycholinguistic study of financial language consciousness across English and Russian cultures.

Financial Behaviour Groups

Group work exploring the psychological roots of financial decisions — family scripts, money rules, inherited stories.

Communications for Entrepreneurs

Helping business owners tell their story clearly, build their narrative, and speak about money with confidence.

Narrative Production

If you need to tell your story well — about your work, your expertise, your relationship with money — I can help you build that narrative.

MoneyMind Coach

A structured reflective tool for exploring your relationship with money — developed as both a research instrument and a personal development resource.

MoneyMind Coach invites you to examine what you truly think and feel about money — not through theory, but through your own memories, family stories, sensory associations, and free writing.

The instrument draws on psycholinguistic methods used in academic research. Participants consistently report that the questions surface things they had never consciously articulated before.

What you will explore:

  • Your earliest memory of money — and what it carried emotionally
  • The family story about money told most often, and what it means
  • The unspoken rules and sayings that still govern your behaviour
  • The colours, smells, and tastes you associate with wealth, poverty, and money
  • A letter to your money — and its reply

At the end you receive a personalised PDF reflection with your responses and prompts for deeper work.
